North Coast Greyhound Connection & Adoption of Ohio is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization out of Fremont, Ohio dedicated to finding homes for as many retired Greyhounds as possible, and to educate the community about Greyhounds and the need for adoption.

North Coast Greyhound Connection & Adoption of Ohio is run by unpaid volunteers who fell in love with this ancient breed and wanted to spread the joy of adopting a Greyhound to others.

MEET & GREET

Woodland Mall, 1234 N. Main Street (Bowling Green)

SATURDAY, JANUARY 28, 2012

11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Join us as we return to the Bowling Green Woodland Mall (1/28) where we will be rehave available for adoption greyhounds for you to meet and greet as well as volunteers to answer questions you may have on adopting a retired racer! We have had such good outreach and reception from the local community in Bowling Green that we are heading there again.

Thaw out with us and meet a fast friend, too!

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED

If you have room near your hearth, in your heart or in your humble abode would you consider fostering a greyhound over the winter months?

N.C.G.C. would love to welcome more retired racers into our adoption program but we have run out of foster homes!

Fostering brings such rewards and what a present to give to yourself and the world than to take in a greyhound in need to teach home life to so she can go on to a successful adoption and forever home! I can't tell you how heartwarming it is to watch these boys and girls blossom right before your eyes!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We are looking for volunteers to help work our booth at the Cleveland Home & Garden Show. We sell items for fundraising and distribute literature to the public on greyhound adoption. Working doesn't take much skill other than to have a smiling face and a love to help our greyhounds find their permanent home. You will be working with other volunteers so come and join us while helping a great cause. Please take a look at your calendar and see if you may be able to help out any time between Saturday Feb. 4th through Sunday Feb. 12th.

Featured Greyhound:  Chad

Chad has arrived in Ohio looking for a place to call home and a family to call his! He is a beautiful quiet boy at the age of just 2. He was so quiet and patient as he waited his turn for a bath and loved the attention when it was his turn. He had his nails trimmed and micro-chip placed, he can't wait to get started in his new life.  Update: Chad is fitting into his foster home very well. He gets along with other large dogs perfectly. He crates well and is learning his basic skills (sit, stay, come, etc). He is not cat safe.
